Book Haul [4]

I haven't thought of a name for a weekly meme of book hauls so let's just go with what's posted above.

For now, I'll call this the "Whatever it's called" Book Haul. It's only temporary, I swear. I just haven't thought of a clever name for it. So this is pretty much just like In My Mailbox by the Story Siren and This Week In Books by Pop Culture Junkie and all the other titles with the similar concept here and there. This is a weekly post showcasing the books you received for the given week, either bought online or from a physical bookstore, borrowed from the library or from a friend, received for review or won from a giveaway, etc.

Hello everyone! I missed last week's Book Haul post for a very good reason:

Lifehouse Live in Manila (May 26, 2012)

Lifehouse Live in Manila!!! This was absolutely unexpected, I'm a little short on cash so I already thought I won't be attending the concert this year (I went to their 2008 tour, is it obvious that I'm a big fan? LOL.) but my good friend Genieve, who happens to be a really awesome photographer [hence the photo above] and an even BIGGER Lifehouse fan, won a contest for 2 tickets to watch the Lifehouse concert from Circuit Magazine. *squealing uncontrollably*

Yeah, I was so caught up over this and the fact that I was tired from screaming my lungs out, jumping up and down, singing along during the concert and was the designated driver for that night, I was too beat to do a post for the next day.

So I'll be putting last week's supposed haul with this week's books.

Here they are:

THE IMMORTAL RULES by Julie Kagawa (Paperback)
I've been waiting for this to arrive from the Book Depository and now it's here! Yay!!! I can't wait to dive into this one.

THAT KIND OF GUY by Mina V. Esguerra (Paperback)
THE BEST OF ARCHIE COMICS by Vic Bloom, Various (Paperback)
THE SEVEN: THE KEY OF CREDENCE by Veronica Mist (Paperback)

That Kind of Guy and The Seven: The Key of Credence are books written by wonderful Filipino Authors. I'm really excited to read Veronica Mist's book since it happens to be the first Young Adult book by a Filipino author that I'll be reading. I've always really enjoyed Mina Esguerra's books so I wouldn't pass the chance to read her new book.

As for the Archie Comics, well if anyone will be blaming my book addiction to, it would be this. LOL. The Archie Digest Magazines are one of the biggest influences for my reading habit and up until know I can't get enough of them.

I also got a few ebooks for review this week:

INDIAN MAIDENS BUST LOOSE by Vidya Samson (eBook, For Review)
THE MINE by John A Heldt (eBook, For Review)
Well, that's it for me.
What did you get this week? Let me know and I'll be sure to check it out.

Happy reading!
