Book Haul [19]

My "Weekly Book Haul" is pretty much just like In My Mailbox by the Story Siren, This Week In Books by Pop Culture Junkie, and Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Reviews and all the other titles with the similar concept here and there. This is a weekly post showcasing the books you received for the given week, either bought online or from a physical bookstore, borrowed from the library or from a friend, received for review or won from a giveaway, etc.

Hello! Hello! How have you been? It's been like, a month since my last book haul post. Sorry about that. Things have been crazy.

In case you didn't catch my previous post, our house has been under renovation for a few months and we just got the house blessing on the 22nd of December. In line with that I got newly altered shelves!!! Tadaaa!

*sigh* I just love it! Anyway, if you want to know more about that you can check out THIS POST.

And now on to the book haul! Woohoo! This is probably three (3) weeks worth of books, by the way:

FAIRY TALE FAIL by Mina V. Esguerra
THE BEST OF CHICO, DELAMAR AND GINO'S THE MORNING RUSH TOP 10

by Chico Garcia, Delamar Arias and Gino Quillamor
UNDEADLY by Michele Vail
STARTERS by Lissa Price
SWEET EVIL by Wendy Higgins
DEFIANCE by C. J. Redwine
THE GIRL IN THE STEEL CORSET by Kady Cross
ORIGIN by Jessica Khoury
DEITY by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Deity and Undeadly arrived earlier this month, around the 8th I think, from the Book Depository. I've only read Half-Blood and Daimon from Jennifer L. Armentrout's Covenant series but I like it so far that I already bought the next two books in the series. Plus I love the covers so...

As for Undeadly, the premise was just absolutely captivating that I had to get myself a copy. I hope it's good.

I got these two (2) Filipino books a week later after Deity and Undeadly. For those of you who don't know, The Morning Rush is a radio show on RX 93.1. I have been an avid listener of the show for over 7 years now and of course I'm a fan of these three DJs. They're hilarious and they bring good vibes every morning.

Since I'm a fan of Mina Esguerra, I would not pass up the chance to get a copy of her book. I have Fairy Tale Fail on my nook but I have been meaning to get a paperback copy of it for a while now.

As for Origin and Starters, these are Christmas gifts from hubby. So thank you, Hubby! for letting me pick out these two. I'm really excited to get started on them.

And last but not the least, The Girl in the Steel Corset, Defiance and Sweet Evil. These three books are what I purchased using the P1000 Fully Booked Gift Card my brother and sister-in-law gave me for Christmas.

Well, that is it for me. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. See you all next year!

Happy reading!

May we all have very prosperous New Year!!!
