Hello everyone! How are you doing? It's only 2 days before Christmas, are you excited? I sure am... excited to get the holidays over (what a Grinch, right? LOL). Well, I've been incredibly busy with the holiday preparation that it's really taking its toll on me.
Pardon me if my post would be all jumbled up thoughts, I'm rushing on doing this because I've got an errand to run in a few minutes.
So let's get started. If you follow me Instagram, you've probably seen this already. :P
LOOKIE MY NEW SHELVIES!!! My books look gorgeous displayed like that. Before I had to stack them in since I barely got room for them all. But now they boast of their beauty!!! *happy dance*
It has been a crazy few days. I just barely got off work (I was granted a holiday leave from December 21st until January 1st. Yay me!) but I didn't get the liberty of relaxing. First, my family and I were prepping up for our house blessing (we got our house renovated). So I apologize if I haven't been able to reply to your emails and/or comments on the blog. I barely got to access my computer because of the renovation... and my books have been packed up since I had my bookshelf remade.
Lo and behold, the craziness of where I placed my books in my new room:
Yeeeeaaahhhh.. there's more where that came from. It's a mess. Sorry.
And then the bookshelves were done!
Yeah I had a lot of work to do...
But hey! It looks like this now:
There are lot of other crazy stuff that went on after that: I had to do some gift shopping, then there's the wrapping of the presents. Then there's my dad's business' Christmas Party, which was yesterday. Followed by another trip to the mall (I'll be going in a little while) where I'm going to help my mom pick out gifts for the family members. This is also the time I'm supposed to pick out MY present. Yup, mom doesn't wrap my present anymore, I get to choose it and that's that. It's cool, but sometimes I miss the whole surprise thing, but what the heck! :)
Anyhoo, for the past few weeks the Blair Book Project blog has been filled with Cover Reveals and Book Blitz alone since I couldn't sit longer to do any review writing yet (I've written over 2 reviews only this December), but I'll get through them next week as soon as I can.
Here are the books I need to review: Outpost by Ann Aguirre, Renegade by J.A. Souders, Beauty and the Werewolf by Mercedes Lackey, Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake, Shadows by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Once by Anna Carey, Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout, The Best of Archie Comics Book 2 by Various, The Best of Chico, Delamar and Gino's the Morning Rush Top 10 Book 2 by Chico Garcia, Delamar, Arias and Gino Quillamor, and The Selection by Kiera Cass
Other than that, I'm also participating in several challenges and blog post surveys and entries, such as: the 2013 Debut Author Challenge, the 2013 Sequel Reading Challenge (I still have to make my list), and the End of the Year Survey (that too is in working progress). Hopefully I get them done before the New year comes along.
I have a few giveaways in mind that'll be coming up in a few days, so watch out for that! :)
But in case I don't get to post more in the following days, I wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous Happy New Year! I wish you guys all the best and may we all have a good year ahead of us. Happy reading and may we all get more books to read! Yay!!!
That's it. Gotta run! :)
