Book Haul [27]

My "Weekly Book Haul" is pretty much just like In My Mailbox by the Story Siren, This Week In Books by Pop Culture Junkie, and Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Reviews and all the other titles with the similar concept here and there. This is a weekly post showcasing the books you received for the given week, either bought online or from a physical bookstore, borrowed from the library or from a friend, received for review or won from a giveaway, etc.

Hi! How are you doing this lovely Saturday? I hope you're having a good day.

Here's my haul for this week:

TITLES (from the Book Depository):
ROGUE DESCENDANT by Jenna Black
ACID by Emma Pass
OF POSEIDON by Anna Banks
EMBERS AND ECHOES by Karsten Knight

I honestly wasn't expecting to post a book haul this week but to my surprise, these babies came in the mail late this week. And just like that I'm a happy camper. LOL.

I've already read Of Poseidon but only through NetGalley, so I decided to purchase my own copy since it was such a fun book to read. I've been looking forward to the third book from the Nikki Glass series by Jenna Black so as soon as Rogue Descendant arrived, I dived into it immediately.

I bought Acid with high hopes that this would be a thrilling 2013 Debut novel. I haven't had any luck with finding a debut this year that I actually like. *sigh* Please be awesome.

I've finally received my copy of Embers and Echoes! Woohoo! It has been lost in the mail since November last year so imagine my surprise over it finding its way to me. Thank you, PhilPost for managing to find it. Thank you Jenny @ A Bibliophile's Diary for including it on your inquiry when you visited the post office. Of course, thank you Book Depository as well for patiently replying to my inquiry about this lost book.

  7. Really looking forward to reading your thoughts on Of Poseidon - I myself had to give up with the book because I did not enjoy it at all, so since then I have been looking for raving reviews of it to see why I did not enjoy it at all etc.
    Happy reading!
