Book Haul [28]

My "Weekly Book Haul" is pretty much just like In My Mailbox by the Story Siren, This Week In Books by Pop Culture Junkie, and Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Reviews and all the other titles with the similar concept here and there. This is a weekly post showcasing the books you received for the given week, either bought online or from a physical bookstore, borrowed from the library or from a friend, received for review or won from a giveaway, etc.

Hello lovelies! How are you? I'll have to make this post quick since my fiance and I are tackling on some pre-wedding arrangements and stuff. Whatever. (I'm trying to play it cool and not seem so overly excited here. LOL). So here's what I got this week:

SWEET PERIL by Wendy Higgins
SHADOW AND BONE by Leigh Bardugo (Read and Reviewed)
THE HUMAN by Keary Taylor (ARC from Author)

PROPHECY by Ellen Oh
CITY OF A THOUSAND DOLLS by Miriam Forster (read)
NEVER FADE by Alexandra Bracken (from NetGalley)

Gorgeous, yes?

I've read Shadow and Bone last year but I haven't gotten a copy yet, so I bought the paperback from the Book Depository. I'm really excited to read Sweet Peril, in fact, I'm tempted to pick it up already, but I need to finish the ones I have in schedule first.

I'm a little off my game with Debut Authors this year so I'm hoping that when I read Prophecy, it would be awesome. Thankfully though, I finished City of a Thousand Dolls a few days ago and it was a really nice fantasy story.

Thank you, Ms. Keary Taylor for the privilege of getting an ARC of The Human. I really had fun with reading The Bane so I want to see what happens next. Also, why the heck happened to Eve's hair???

I'd also like to thank Disney-Hyperion for granting my request to view Never Fade. Yehey!!! I hope Ruby and Liam get to see each other again.

I have some really interesting books added to my collection, and I am just so happy right now. LOL.

How about you? You got anything new this week? Let me know and I'll be sure to check it out.

Bye for now! Happy reading! ^_^

  1. I also just recently got Shadow and Bone and really enjoyed it! And you just reminded me that I still need to read Sweet Peril. Enjoy! And good luck with all your wedding plans!

  2. Siege and Storm's even better than Shadow and Bone, I can't wait to see what the third book offers up. All the best with your wedding plans!

  3. I really like Shadow and bone. I can't wait for Siege and storm :) Prophecy & City of a thousand dolls sound awesome! Happy reading.

I really appreciate your thoughts and I hope you take the time to drop me a line. Thanks! ^_^
