Book Haul [21]

My "Weekly Book Haul" is pretty much just like In My Mailbox by the Story Siren, This Week In Books by Pop Culture Junkie, and Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Reviews and all the other titles with the similar concept here and there. This is a weekly post showcasing the books you received for the given week, either bought online or from a physical bookstore, borrowed from the library or from a friend, received for review or won from a giveaway, etc.

Hello! Happy hearts month! You know what I mean. LOL.

Anyway, it was my birthday last Sunday, January 27th and I just had a fabulous week in books and I can't wait to share them with you all. So here they are:

TITLES:
(from Book Depository)
LEVEL 2 by Lenore Appelhans
FALLING KINGDOMS by Morgan Rhodes

(from Tina @ tinamats.com)
PERFECT ESCAPE by Jennifer Brown (ARC)
A BOTTLE OF STORM CLOUDS by Eliza Victoria (won from Filipino ReaderCon 2012)

(from National Bookstore)
EVERNEATH by Brodi Ashton
THROUGH THE EVER NIGHT by Veronica Rossi

(from Fully Booked)
HARRY POTTER BOXSET by J.K. Rowling (birthday gift from hubby! ^_^)
ROMEO REDEEMED by Stacey Jay
Tadaaaa!!! Aren't they fabulous? *sigh* I can't help but admire their beauty.

I really didn't expect to get any books for my birthday (my family thinks I have too much already... pfft!) so I bought myself EVERNEATH, ROMEO REDEEMED and UNDER THE NEVER SKY (which I read as soon as I had it scanned through the cashier). But boy was it a surprise when my boyfriend got me my very own HARRY POTTER hardbound boxset for my birthday! *sigh* I swear, my guy's a keeper. Hahaha!

I even teased him after opening my present. Our conversation went a little like this:

ME (after unwrapping the big heavy box): *Gasp* HARRY!!! Thank you!

HUBBY (seemingly proud of himself for his gift for me): You're welcome.

ME: *ahem* you know... I always wanted the hardbound sets of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones...

HUBBY (raises eyebrows): If you think I'm buying you that as well - Not happening. *laughs*

ME: Meh... *shrugs* was worth the shot.

I can be a nuisance sometimes. LOL. Anyway, FALLING KINGDOMS and LEVEL 2 arrived earlier this week and I'm really excited about them. But my surprise didn't end there! By Wednesday, 30th of January, came A BOTTLE OF STORM CLOUDS which was a prize from the 2012 Filipino ReaderCon, and Tina added in PERFECT ESCAPE as a bonus. *sigh* Such a happy week in books.

Last but not the least, I got these ebooks for free! :D
TITLES:
(from NetGalley)

DOUBLE CROSSED by Ally Carter
OVERRIDE by Heather Anastasiu

(from AMAZON)
MILA 2.0: ORIGINS: THE FIRE by Debra Driza (FREE eBook)

And that is all for me this week. Don't forget, my Birthday Giveaway is still up until February 28th. Feel free to join in!

How about you, what did you get this week?
Let me know and I'll be sure to check it out.
