It's Monday! What Are You Reading? [4]

It's Monday! What are you reading? Is a meme by Sheila @ Book Journey. And I quote her: "This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!"

Hi there! Can you believe it's June already? Wow! Time really does fly by so fast. So here's my reading plan for this week.

RECENTLY READ

ROGUE DESCENDANT by Jenna Black
ACID by Emma Pass
PRAYING FOR RAIN by Jay Kristoff

I really liked Jenna Black's Nikki Glass series so when my pre-ordered copy of Rogue Descendant arrived a few days ago, I immediately went on to read through it.

I've been out of luck when it comes to YA/MG debut authors this year but now I finally found one that I actually enjoyed. I still had some issues with it but I am incredibly thankful to Emma Pass, because Acid gave me the push to continue on with my 2013 DAC when I was already deciding whether I'd drop out or not from this challenge a few weeks ago.

CURRENT READ

DANCE OF SHADOWS by Yelena Black
CITY OF A THOUSAND DOLLS by Miriam Forster

So since I am way behind on my 2013 DAC, I'm trying to catch up by reading debut novels simultaneously. Let's hope I catch up. *fingers crossed*

NEXT READ

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS by John Green
THE HUMAN by Keary Taylor

I know what you thinking: "You haven't read TFIOS????" I'm sorry. I will read it soon. I promise. LOL.

And that is all for me, how about you? What's your reading plan for this week? :)
Happy reading!

  2. I must be weird, but I was one of the few who did not enjoy TFIOS, but I'd be curious to hear what you think of it...

    1. Well, I'm not really big on stories like TFIOS but it's worth giving a shot at.. I'm still not sure if I'm going to like, but I hope I do. ^_^

  4. I haven't read TFIOS yet either... but I teach upper elementary. So it's on my summer reading list :)

  5. I haven't read The Fault in our Stars myself - the only John Green book I've read is "Looking for Alaska" - I've read great reviews about that one though. :) City of a Thousand Dolls also caught my eye. :) Enjoy the rest of your reading week!
